Botanical Museum

The museum was opened in April 2023 on two floors of the former administrative building of the institute. The first floor includes information about the modern flora of the RA and NKR territory: Red Book plants, information about fruits, fungi and lichens, and also displays a rich collection of photographs of species of all taxonomic groups of plants. On the second floor, fossils, remains and imprints of plants grown in the past geological periods of RA, NKR and other territories are displayed, starting from a few thousand years old to 370 million years old specimens.
